Classical Ballet / Principal
William was born in Birmingham and moved to Bristol when he was six. He trained locally before joining The Royal Ballet Upper School in 1986 and, that year, choreographed several works including Going Underground which won the Ursula Moreton Award, Boys & Girls, created for the Wembley Save the Children Gala, Between the Sheets and I am a Kenwood Mixer, both for Dance Umbrella at the ICA. He also appeared in these last two ballets. He was the joint winner of a Cosmopolitan Dance Award for I am a Kenwood Mixer.
