Classical Ballet / Soloist

Vyacheslav Lopatin was born in Voronezh, Russia. Graduated from the Voronezh Ballet School. After graduation he was invited to apprentice at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. He joined the Bolshoi Ballet in 2002. His coach is the former Bolshoi Principal dancer Boris Akimov.

  • Silver medal at the Arabesque International Ballet Competition in Perm, 2004
  • Russia’s National Theater Award, the Golden Mask (Special Jury Prize), for best duet (in La Sylphide with Natalia Osipova) in a ballet performance, 2009
