Classical Ballet / Dancer
Portuguese. She was born in Madeira, Portugal and started her ballet studies there at the age of 8 at Carlos Fernandes Ballet School. Then, she moved to England, training in Elmhurst Ballet School and she graduated from English National Ballet (ENB) School in London in 1999. She had the opportunity to dance with ENB Company under the direction of Derek Deane. Afterwards, she joined successively the National Ballet Company of Portugal in Lisbon during 3 years, the Ballet of Zaragoza, the Ballets of Generalitat in Valencia and from 2006, the ballet of Carmen Roche. Her repertoire includes classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballets ; she works with choreographers such as Tony Fabre, Gojo Montero, Nils Christie, Patrick Dabana and Mehmet Balkan. In September 2008, she entered les Ballets de Monte-Carlo.
