Schayk Tour of
Classical Ballet / Choreographer
Tour of Schayk was born in 1936 in Amsterdam. He received his first ballet lessons Iraïl Gadeskov and was further trained by Sonia Gaskell. From 1955 to 1959 he was a dancer with Ballet Gaskell Dutch, but he interrupted his career for his dance training as a sculptor at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague to complete.
In 1971 his debut as a choreographer of Schayk with Simple past. In 1976 he was appointed resident choreographer of the National Ballet, which included more than 30 ballets he made.
