Classical Ballet / Dancer
Tomas Danhel was born in the Czech Republic where he grew up as well as in Poland. He started his ballet training at a private school and continued his education at the State Ballet School in Lodz. At a national dance contest in Danzig he won the third price and a special prize for Best Artistic Condition. The Polish Ballet Foundation awarded him as the best graduate of all Polish Ballet Schools.
He continued his training at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart where he graduated in 1999.
After his graduation he became an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet; one year later he was taken into the Corps de ballet.
In November 2007 Tomas Danhel proved his talent for acting in Cranko Re-Flexions, a cooperation of the Stuttgart Ballet and the FITZ! puppet theatre Stuttgart. The full-length solo received major critical and popular acclaim.
