Classical Ballet / Dancer

Teun trained at Dance Department of the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague, and joined Dutch National Ballet in 2006. Roles he has danced include Eagling’s Nutcracker and the Mouseking, Makarova’s La Bayadere, Dinna BjØrn’s La Sylphide, Rudi van Dantzig’s Romeo and Juliet and Monument voor een Gestorven Jongen, Sir Peter Wright’s Sleeping Beauty, Ted Brandsen’s Coppelia, Micheline Dumonceau’s Two sides of a Portret, Rachel Beaujean and Ricardo Bustamente’s Giselle, Alexei Ratmansky’s Don Quichot, Harald Lander’s Etudes, Toer van Schayk’s 7e Symfonie, Michael Schumacher’s From Where You’re Sitting Now, Milena Sidorova’s Reality Conundrum, George Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto and Theme and Variations, and Krzysztof Pastor’s Don Giovanni, Sheherazade and Dumbarton Dances.

Teun joined Scottish Ballet in summer 2010 and has danced in Frederick Ashton's Scènes de Ballet, Ashley Page's Fearful Symmetries and Pennies from Heaven, and Diana Loosmore's Chasing Ghosts.
