Roemer Susan


Classical Ballet / Dancer

Susan is originally from Milwaukee. She received her training at the Academy of Dance Arts and the Milwaukee Ballet School, and spent summers with Boston Ballet School and Kaatsbaan International Dance Center. After joining Milwaukee Ballet II in 2002, she danced with Ballet Quad Cities, Augusta Ballet and Northern Plains Ballet, with performances including Lar Lubovitch’s My Funny Valentine and as Mina in Anthony Noa’s Dracula. Since joining Smuin Ballet in 2007, Susan has enjoyed performing in memorable works such as Jirí Kylián’s Petite Mort, Michael Smuin’s St. Louis Woman, and Ma Cong’s French Twist. Susan also enjoys writing and preparing artistic culinary creations.
