Galler Samantha Hope

Samantha Hope Galler is a native of Bedford, Massachusetts. She received her training from the Ballet Academy Inc. under the direction of Francis Cavicchio Kotelly. She continued her studies with the Boston Ballet School and was the recipient of the PAO Merit Scholarship in 2007. In 2006, she received an Honorable Mention Award from the Nation Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts. Samantha spent 6 summers attending the Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program and 3 summers with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She went on to dance with the Cincinnati Ballet during the 2008-2009 season, and received the Anthony Albano and K. Ann Choe–Albano Fellowship. Samantha became an Apprentice with Alabama Ballet in 2009 and was promoted to Company Artist in 2010. Since joining Alabama Ballet, Samantha has appeared in Van Fleteren’s Shostakovich and has performed roles such as Mercedes and the Dryad Queen in Don Quixote, Dark Angel in George Balanchine’s Serenade and Arabian in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. She is truly thankful to Francis Cavicchio Kotelly and her family for all their support and love.
