Rui Lopes Graça began his dance studies with a scholarship from the Gulbenkian Ballet School and the Vocational Training Centre of the National Ballet. In 1985, he joined the cast of this company and in 1996 became a soloist dancer. She danced most of the repertoire of the CNB, in classical and contemporary ballets. In July 1999, participated in the International Course for Choreographers and Composers at Bretton Hall University in England, directed by Robert Cohan, Nigel Osborne, Ivan Kramar and Gale Law. Since 1996, has choreographed for the National Ballet, Ballet Gulbenkian, Portuguese Contemporary Dance Company, The Curve Foundation Dance Company School of Dance and the National Conservatory. also choreographed for Expo \'98, Porto 2001 European Capital of Culture Centro Cultural de Belém and international festivals in the U.S., Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Turkey. He is co-founder of the Society Rui Lopes Graca, who created for the antidote, Blow, Two, The Art of Fugue and the children\'s shows, \"meme right here at the foot\" and \"bubble blower.\" He is currently resident choreographer of the National Ballet.
