Classical Ballet / Choreographer

A graduate of the Gdańsk Ballet School. Between 1979 and 1981, as well as between 1983 and 1989 he was a soloist in the Grand Thetare in Łódź, whereas between 1979 and 1981 in the Baltic Opera. Moreover, he worked as a soloist and a choreographer in the Staatstheater in Kassel, Braunschweig and Giessen in Germany. He also cooperated with the Polish Dance Theatre in Łódź. During the artistic season 2005/06 he was the ballet pedagogue in the Baltic Opera. He is a laureate of the Leon Wójcikowski Medal for the Best Polish Dancer (1988) and the Wacław Niżyński Medal for extraordinary ballet achievements. He has created a number of outstanding characters on Polish and German stages (Albert in Giselle, Spartacus, Vronsky in Anna Karenina, Twardowski, Romeo, Zorba, Petrushka). He has authored almost thirty ballet spectacles. Giselle was his first production on the Baltic Opera stage.
