Born in Punta Arenas, at age 17 began studying ballet in that city. A few months later, he moved to Santiago where he was admitted to the School of Ballet Teatro Municipal de Santiago and studied with Pablo Aharonian, Georgi Christoff and Claudio Mu—oz, until 1998. In 1999, he joined the Ballet de Santiago as a candidate under the direction of Ivan Nagy. That same year he was promoted to corps de ballet. Then began performing solo roles in ballets such as Manon, Le Corsaire, Giselle and the Pas de Trois from Swan Lake. Before being appointed Principal Dancer under the direction of Marcia Haydee, in September 2004, she played leading roles such as Basilio (Don Quixote) Albrecht (Giselle), Franz (Coppelia), Siegfried (Swan Lake), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly ) Nutcracker Prince (Nutcracker), the Chosen (The Rite of Spring) and The Toreador (Carmen). Recently participated in a Gala in Paraguay playing the Pas de Deux from Don Quixote. In December 2005, successfully debuted in the role in The Taming of the Shrew Petrucchio. Also that year, received the Award for best male figure Altazor in dance. In 2006 he was also distinguished by the APES Prize in the same category.
