At a young age of 8, Rita Winder started exploring the art of dance in Dancer’s Inc. under Edward Malagkit and Joy Coronel. In 2004, she continued studying the craft at Philippine High School for the Arts under Nonoy Froilan, Victor Ursabia & Ronilo Jaynario. With her passion and love for dance, she joined the CCP Dance School as a company scholar under Noordin Jumalon, Jeffrey Espejo & Victor Ursabia in 2008.

Rita has already essayed several characters such as Lisa in Ang Pilya, Ana Trojana in A Forest Tale, and Marina in Baroque Fantasque. She has also been casted in Neo Filipino, Alan Hineline’s Coppelia, Masterworks, Tales of the Manuvu, The Nutcracker, and Neo-Filipino 2010. After two years as a company scholar, she has been promoted as a company member this season.
