Contemporary dance / Dancer

Peter Wilson is a young dancer who has recently graduated from The Australian Ballet School (December 2010). Prior to this, Peter spent four years dancing at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, winning The Australian Choreographic Competition. During his studies, he has performed in Jiri Kylian's Songs of a Wayfarer and Polonaise as well as the more classical Valetta by Paul Knobloch. Peter also has a keen interest in music, and has earned with distinction his Licentiate in Piano Performance. He is now expanding his musical palette and spends much time working on his own compositions. The amalgamation of all art forms - and, in particular, dance, music and choreography - is something which he would like to explore in the future. Peter commenced working with BalletLab on Aviary in December 2010.
