Petar Đorčevski was born in Serbia. He made his first ballet steps in the Lujo Davičo State Ballet School in Belgrade, where he was coached by the professor Mirjana Nesić. During his schooling years he was already engaged by the National Theatre in Belgrade. In 2007, he was a finalist at the International Ballet Competition in Vienna and the year before he had already became a member of the Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana.
