Originally from Okayama, Japan, Nobuyoshi began his ballet training at the Yukimo Tsutsumi Ballet. In 1998, he was accepted at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) School, graduating in 2000. While at the RWB School, he received the Prince Edward Award in 1999. Nobuyoshi joined the Orlando Ballet in 2001, first under the direction of Fernando Bujones and then Bruce Marks. His favorite role is Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, James in La Sylphide and Ali in Le Corsaire. This is his third season with the Louisville Ballet.
