Nanase began her ballet training with Mary Ann La Joie-Sandroff in Illinois, USA followed by Kishibe Ballet Studio in Japan. She furthered her training at Elmhurst School for Dance in the UK and graduated with a National Diploma in 2009. During her time in England, she danced in MacMillan’s Elite Syncopations as the Calliope Rag and Don Quixote (Act 3 Pas de Deux) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
