Pertl Miles

Miles Pertl was born in Salt Lake City, USA and grew up in Seattle. He received his first ballet training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle (2001 until 2004) before he went to the International Ballet Theater School in Kirkland, Washington. In 2007 Miles Pertl took part at the San Francisco Youth American Grand Prix as well as at the Youth American Grand Prix in New York. In San Francisco he won the Grand Prix, in New York the Honorary Grand Prix. In the same year he came to the John Cranko School in Stuttgart where he graduated in 2010.

In the season 2010/11 Miles Pertl became apprentice at the Stuttgart Ballet. One season later he joined the company as a member of the Corps de ballet.

For the Noverre-Society’s „Young Choreographers“ he created one choreography: Gern geschehen premiered in July 2011 and was danced by Jesse Fraser, Jelena Bushuyeva (both Stuttgart Ballet) and Robert Robinson (John Cranko School).
