Gilliver Miles Ashton

Miles started dancing in his home town of Gloucester and then joined Elmhurst School for Dance at the age of 11 where he remained for the duration of his training until graduating with a Diploma in July 2012. During this time he performed with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in productions and tours such as The Nutcracker at the O2 Arena London. His highlights as a student include performing the male lead role in David Bintley’s Scottish Dances, Sir Fredrick Ashton's Les Rendezvous, Ben Van-Cauwenbergh's Les Bourgeois in Elmhurst Studio Theatre and performing the role of Lead Toreadore in Don Quixote in Tokyo, Japan. Miles was also awarded The Hortons Estate Bursary and also clinched the 2nd place “Barbara Geoghegan Award” Solo Competition and 1st place in The Elmhurst Upper School Men Solo Competition.
