Classical Ballet / Apprentice
Mikhail Soloviev was born in Moscow. He received his first ballet training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in his home town from 1990 to 1997 and then at the John Cranko-School in Stuttgart, where he graduated in 1999. At the Birgit Keil-Gala in 1997 he danced the Blue Bird in The Sleeping Beauty (Márcia Haydée after Marius Petipa).
At the beginning of the 1999/2000 season he became an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet. One season later he was taken into the Corps de ballet.
Mikhail Soloviev created already two own choreographies for the Noverre-Society’s “Young Choreographers“. Ballade d’el Mariachi was premiered on July 8th, 2009 by David Moore and Oihane Herrero. Two years later The unextected Suddennes for Anais Bueno Garces and Özkan Ayik followed.
