Classical Ballet / Dancer
Born in Brussels and started his dance training. Later he studied at the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich and the Swiss Professional Ballet School in Zurich.
With 20 years he was engaged at the Nürnberg Ballet / Dance Nuremberg plant. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of Amanda Miller\'s ensemble Ballet Freiburg Pretty Ugly. In 2004 Michael moved to Maurissen Kevin O \'Day Ballet Mannheim and at the National Theatre from 2006 to 2009 was engaged in pretty ugly tanz köln GmbH. In 2008 he received a scholarship from the NRW Art Foundation in the category of \"young talent dance / choreography.\" In the same year he won the dance film \'editorial\' dance film competition POOL08, Berlin. As part of the \"7 Pearls 08\" the movie on the DMJ international video dance festival 2009 is shown. 2008/2009 curated on behalf of Michael Maurissen pretty ugly tanz a series of four new dance productions day cologne | Evening | Night | dawn (www.oneweekstand.de) Arkadas in-theater and in the machine shop of the Schauspielhaus Cologne and was artistically and administratively responsible for framing.
In early 2009, he founded in Cologne together with the dancer and choreographer Douglas Bateman, the artist collective michael douglas.
