Krieger Mark

Mark Krieger, a Virginia native, is in his fifth season with Columbia City Ballet and his fourth season as a Principal Dancer. He studied dance under Jefferson Baum at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and was coached in leading roles by John Gardner, Amanda McKerrow, Charles Askegard, and Ethan Brown. In 2004, Mark was invited to join Ballet Austin and Ballet Met. Mark has danced Principal roles in Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, Le Corsaire, Les Sylphides, Paquita, Spring Waters, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle.
Principal roles he has performed with the Columbia City Ballet include Don Quixote, Nutcracker, Where the Wild Things Are, The Little Mermaid, Dracula, and his favorite, Anthony in Cleopatra.
