Green Lucy

Classical Ballet / Dancer

When dance lessons were offered at her Sydney primary school, Lucy took up the opportunity. At just five, she probably had no idea that it would become such a passion.

After moving to Melbourne when she was nine, she danced at the National Theatre Ballet School for three years.

In 2003 she was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts secondary school and trained there until she graduated in 2008.

A career highlight has been performing a solo at the Sydney Opera House for the McDonald Ballet Scholarship.

Lucy joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet at the start of 2010 and says being offered a contract was a huge thrill.

One day she would love to perform in Giselle.

To relax Lucy loves to read. She also enjoys watching romance movies and shopping.

Lucy was featured in the TV3 series The Secret Lives of Dancers.
