Born: Fairfield, Connecticut

Joined Ballet West in 2004. Promoted to Demi-Soloist in 2005. Promoted to Soloist in 2007. Promoted to Senior Soloist in 2010.

Katherine began her ballet training at the Connecticut Dance School and furthered her training at The Harid Conservatory where she graduated as Valedictorian in 1998. She joined Ballet Internationale, Indianapolis in 1999, and quickly rose to the rank of Soloist. Since joining Ballet West in 2004, Katherine has performed major roles in Jonas Kåge’s Swan Lake, Aurora in Kåge’s The Sleeping Beauty, the title role in Ben Stevenson\'s Cinderella, and Constance in Andre Prokovsky\'s The Three Musketeers. Additional performance highlights include George Balanchine\'s Who Cares? and Serenade, the Act III Pas de Deux in Coppelia, Antony Tudor\'s Echoing of Trumpets, and Christopher Bruce’s Ghost Dances.

Most recently, Katherine performed as Odette/Odile in Adam Sklute’s newly conceived and produced Swan Lake, Liberty Bell in Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen in Willam Christensen\'s The Nutcracker, and The Page in Bronislava Nijinska’s Les Biches during Ballet West’s 2008-2009 Season and as part of the 2009 New York City Center “Fall for Dance” Festival.

Katherine has performed as a guest with The Universal Ballet of Korea, the Hartford Ballet, Canyon Concert Ballet and Peoria Ballet. In the summer of 2007, she appeared at Perry-Mansfield\'s New Works Festival where she performed in new choreography by Darrell Grand Moultrie, including the pas de deux Everlasting Heights, which was created for Katherine and her husband, former Ballet West dancer Aaron Orlowski
