Maida Kasarian


Classical Ballet / Dancer

Kasarian Maida was born in 1979 in Yerevan, Armenia from 1987 to 1992 and attended the local ballet academy. In 1993 she came to Germany to her dance studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt / M. to continue. Ben van Cauwenbergh hired her in 1996 at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden. Here she danced in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Giselle and Spoerli MIDSUMMER NIGHT\'S DREAM. Maida Kasarian 1998 moved to the city of Bielefeld Theatre Philip Lansdale, where she danced principal roles in La Sylphide and DONA ROSITA REMAIN UNMARRIED. In the season 2001/2002 she dancer was at the Brunswick State Theatre, where she danced next to the choreography by Hans Henning Paar (title roles in SWAN LAKE, NUTCRACKER, ROMEO AND JULIET) also in plays by David Williams, Daniel Soulié, Cayetano Soto and CobosMika.
Maida Kasarian since the 2007/08 season, a member of the newly established ensemble of dance theater munich.
