Bruzina Kara


Classical Ballet / Dancer

Kara Bruzina began her ballet training in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. She continued her studies through summer sessions at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and abroad before earning her BFA at the University of Cincinnati- CCM. She has performed in both classical roles including Clara and the Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Odette in Septime Weber’s Swan Lake, as well as in more contemporary pieces by such choreographers as Mark Godden, Lila York and Trey McIntyre. She has danced with Ballet Memphis, Dayton Ballet and Tulsa Ballet Theater among others, and is very excited to be joining Milwaukee Ballet for the remainder of this season.
