Classical Ballet / Apprentice

Born in Havana October 23, 1965, Julio Arozarena began his studies in 1975 at the Ecole Nationale d\'Art de Cuba, where he graduated in 1983.

That same year, he joined the National Ballet of Cuba, directed by Alicia Alonso, where he became a principal dancer in 1988. Among the awards he received include the Silver Medal at Varna in 1988 and gold medals Houlgate in 1992 and Luxembourg in 1993.

From 1990 to 1993 he was principal dancer at the Royal Ballet of Flanders before joining the Béjart Ballet Lausanne until 1997 when he joined the company Zingaro equestrian in Paris.

In 2003 he created in Brussels his own art project called the Air scratch.

From 2004 to 2006, he joined the Ballet de l\'Opera de Nice as Ballet Master and Assistant to the Manager, before joining the Bejart Ballet Lausanne where he now holds the same position.
