Classical Ballet / Dancer

Itoh began her training in classical ballet at 5 in UK. She entered Royal Academy of Dancing in 1990, and Royal Ballet School Lower School in 1994. She came back to Japan after graduating from the school in 1996, and entered Akiko Tachibana Ballet School and also admitted to Asami Maki Students. During the period she appeared in the productions of AMBT such as The Sleeping Beauty (Court Girls) and Nutcracker (Columbine). In 2001, she was admitted to New National Theatre Training Institute as one of the first trainees of the institute. Ito joined AMBT in 2003 after finishing both Training Institute and Akiko Tachibana Ballet School. Since then she has danced the leading roles of Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, La Fille mal gardée, Romeo and Juliet, The Nut cracker and The Three Musketeers as well as major featured roles including Princess Florine (The Sleeping Beauty), Four Swans and Pas de Trois (Swan Lake), Snow Queen and a Soloist for Flowers waltz (Nutcracker) and Queen of Dryades, Street Dancer and Kitri\'s Friend (Don Quixote), a Principal in Gershwin’s Dream, Notre-Dame de Paris, Pink Floyd Ballet. In November 2006, she appeared in the new production of Swan Lake for New National Theater Ballet as Ruskaya, which won a critical acclaim
