Isabelle Pollet-Villard was born in France and received her training at the Conservatory in Bordeaux, at the School of Rosella Hightower in Cannes and at the Ballett Academy in Cologne. From 1994 to 1998 she danced at the State Theatre in Wiesbaden and from 1998 until 2004 with the Zurich Ballet under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. From 2004 until 2009 she was a member of the Bavarian State Ballet, where she danced works by George Balanchine, Lucinda Childs, John Cranko, William Forsythe, Jacopo Godani, Jiří Kylián and John Neumeier. Isabelle joined Gauthier Dance in 2009, where she performs in the choreographies by Eric Gauthier, Mauro Bigonzetti, Jiří Kylián, Paul Lightfoot & Sol León, Hans van Manen, and in all her beauty, as betrayed empress Ottavia in Christian Spuck’s POPPEA//POPPEA. Furthermore Isabelle Pollet-Villard débuted as presenter and can also be admired on the cinema screen in Threesome 3D, the first German choreography completely recorded in 3D.
