Hi Heather, I am Bill & Sonia's daughter, Charmayne. Unfortunately we have never met and I'm not sure why. Your dad married my husband Pat and I 17 years ago in my sister Renae's backyard. I love both your parents and always make it a point to see them if I'm ever in Chi-town. The reason I'm writing is that my 16 year old daughter Maggie has fallen absolutely in love with dance. She was a competitive gymnast from about 8 years old till 14. She has been on pointe and since about September. Just wondering if you have any words of wisdom as she wants to attend Alvin Ailey this summer. This is all so new to me I'm not even sure what her chances are of being selected. Her current teacher (Solange Guenier) in Steamboat is an alumni of Alvin and in encouraging her to audition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Char
