Freya Thomas, born in Maidenhead Great Britain, started her training at the Royal Ballet Lower School London in 2001 and finished with diploma at the Royal Ballet Upper School in 2009. From 2006 to 2008 she yearly belonged to the finalists of the “Young British Dancer of the Year” competition. In 2006 she won the Phyllis Bedell Bursary, in 2007 the Sibley/Dowell Award. As a student she already performed as a dancer in the Royal Ballet’s Corps de ballet. Among others in “Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake” and “Sleeping Beauty” and participated in a tour across China and Japan in 2008.

Since the beginning of the season 2009/2010 she is engaged as a Corps de ballet dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet.
