Classical Ballet / Soloist

Euphrosyne started her formal ballet training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet at the age of seven and continued her training for thirteen years. Many original roles were created on her such as ‘Shadow’ in Sherry Morray’s Pandora’s Box and a soloist in Alan Hineline’s Romanza. She also attended numerous summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. Ms. Avery began her professional career as a trainee with The Richmond Ballet in Virginia under the direction of Stoner Winslett where she performed in an original production of Nutcracker and Winslett’s Windows. Ms Avery’s favorite roles to perform include “Dewdrop” from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker as well as Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht and Raymonda. This is Ms Avery’s first season with the Eglevsky Ballet under the choreographic direction of her former instructor, Laszlo Berdo.
