Classical Ballet / Principal

Born in Donetsk (Ukraine). He received his training at the Ballet Academy of Vadim Pisarev in his home town and at the Heinz Bosl Foundation / Ballet Academy in Munich.
Since 2006 he is member of the Ballet of Vienna State Opera and Volksoper, 2008, he was promoted to second soloist, 2009 to principal dancer.
His repertoire includes Prince Nutcracker, robots, and Chinese dance in Gyula Harangozós \"The Nutcracker,\" Moritz \"Max und Moritz\" by Ferenc Barbay and Michael Kropf, Golden God in Vladimir Malakhovs \"The Bayadere\", Prince Siegfried (Act 1) companion of the Prince and Neapolitan dancer Rudolf Nureyev\'s \"Swan Lake\", Alain in Frederick Ashton\'s La Fille gardée times, \"Ulrich, Csárdás soloist and waiters in Roland Petit\'s\" Die Fledermaus \", Mercutio in John Cranko\'s\" Romeo and Juliet, \"Lenski in Cranko\'s \"Onegin,\" beggar king in Kenneth MacMillan\'s \"Manon,\" fried fish in MacMillan\'s \"Mayerling,\" Garcia Davide Bombanas \"Ballet: Carmen, Adjutant of the Prince in Renato Zanella\'s\" The Nutcracker, \"Puck in Jorma Elo\'s\" A Midsummer Night\'s Dream \" sen, Pas de trois in Marius Petipa\'s Grand Pas from \"Paquita,\" Poet in Josef Hass Rider \"The Fairy Doll,\" a waiter in \"open air concert\" by Gyula Harangozó., leading roles in Ben van Cauwenbergh \"dance tribute to Queen,\" George Balanchine\'s \"Rubies\" William Forsythe\'s \"The Thrill of Vertiginous Exactitude\" Elo \"Glow - Stop, Paul Lightfoot and Sol León\'s\" Skew-Whiff, Jirí Bubenícek \"Le souffle de l\'esprit\" and Gopak from \"Taras Bulba\" by Rostislav Sakharov and Pas de deux from \"Don Quixote\".

Awards: 2 Price competition for young dancers in Kiev (2004), 1 Prizes at the Serge Lifar competition in Kiev (2004) and the Tanzolymp in Berlin (2005), silver medal (Junior) USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson (2006), 1 Price ÖTR contest in Vienna (2007). Award of the Vienna State Opera Ballet Club & Folk Opera (2007).
For his performances in \"The Thrill of Vertiginous Exactitude\" he was nominated for the Prix Benois de la Danse.
