Born in Palermo, Debora Di Giovanni began her classical dance training at age six in the dance school Aurino Beltrame. In 2003 she was accepted to the school of La Scala, where she received in the three subsequent years, a scholarship and completed her studies in 2009 with a diploma. Since then she danced under the direction of Luciano Cannito with the ballet company of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. There she played the leading role in \"La Cenerentola\" by Luciano Cannito, and danced in \"Sleeping Beauty\" by Marius Petipa and \"Coppelia\" by Roland Petit. The young Italian was also in 2006 at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games in Turin last year and received the \"Giovani Talenti 2010\" Ballet price. Since the current season, it belongs to the Hanover State Opera Ballet Ensemble.
