Valencia David

David Valencia, born in 1987, is from Columbia and received his dance training at Incolballet - Instituto Colombiano de Ballet Clasico Santiago de Cali, and at the Ecole-Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne. During his engagements with the Company, he danced in choreographies Incolballet Gustavo Herrera, Alberto Mendez and Alicia Alonso. 2004 followed by an appointment at the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, where he danced in numerous works including Maurice Béjart\'s BOLERO, Petrushka, Bakhtier III and Le Sacre du Printemps. He also won second prize at the International Prize of Havana (Cuba) and finished at the renowned Cirque du Soleil workshops. From 2006 -2009 he worked at the Chemnitz Ballet under the direction of Lode Devos, where he danced choreography by Antonio Gomes, Jochen Ulrich, Stephan Thoss, Lode Devos and Bertrand d\'At. Since the 2009/2010 season, David Valencia is a member of the ensemble of dance theater munich.
