David Campbell studied classical ballet at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and contemporary dance at LADMMI, the School of contemporary dance. During his professional training, he danced in original creations by Quebec choreographers Sylvain Émard, Dominique Porte, and Marc Boivin, and in pieces from the classical and contemporary repertoire. He recently appeared in Bodies in Urban Spaces by choreographer Willi Dorner, presented at Festival TransAmériques in Montreal in June, 2011. He was also one of the performers in Fente-toi! and Une grande fente pour dire « allô » by young choreographer Isabelle Boulanger. David Campbell became a member of the O Vertigo company in summer, 2011.
