Chelsey Lindsay, a Calgary, Alberta native, took her first dance lessons at the age of three. She began training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division at age 15, graduating three years later with honours. Chelsey was the recipient of the Canadian Pacific Scholarship and has also received grants from the Alberta Heritage Foundation.Lindsay made her professional debut with the RWB in 2001 as a Wili in Giselle. She officially joined the Company as a corps de ballet member in August 2002. Some of the contemporary works she has performed include Mark Godden’s The Magic Flute, Dracula, Angels in the Architecture, Mauricio Wainrot’s Carmina Burana.
