Classical Ballet / First Soloist

Frenchman Cedric Ygnace (Paris) has joined the National Ballet for six years managed to develop corps de ballet dancer to first soloist. He studied at the Academie de Dance Classique Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo two years and danced with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, before he came to Amsterdam in 1998. Cedric regular guest soloist with The Australian Ballet and winner of several dance awards, including the Alexandra Radius Prize 2004 and the Swan for Best Dance Performance 2009. This last prize he received for his portrayal of the title role in Balanchine\'s The Prodigal Son.
