Born in 1975 in Havana (Cuba), Catherine Zuasnabar enters school gym to four years. In 1984, she took the Elementary School of Ballet. She joined the National Ballet School of Cuba in 1989 when she won the bronze medal contest \"Vigiale Dance.\"

At 17, she joined the Ballet National de Cuba, where she will perform Don Quijote (Mercedes), Swan Lake (Odette Odile) or Gisele (Mirtha).

During a tour in Europe in 1997, Catherine joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.

It participates in the great creations of Maurice Béjart, including: The Rectory ..., MutationX, Nutcracker, Elton Berg, Light, Love - The Dance, The dancer\'s life as told by Zig et Puce, Around the World in 80 Minutes .

It takes the leading role of the great ballets by Maurice Béjart, among them include The Magic Flute, The Firebird, The Rite of Spring, teak, or Bhakti III Is it Death?. She also took over the role of Melody in 2004 Bolero. In 2008, she participated in the creation of Aria, choreographed by Gil Roman.
