Caroline Laurin-Beaucage has been active in the Montreal dance milieu since her graduation from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. As a performer, she has danced for choreographers Jacques Poulin-Denis, Deborah Dunn, Louise Bédard, Jean-Pierre Perrault, the company Bouge de là, and for Fortier Danse-Création. As a choreographer, she has created a number of works, including Prise de seau, La Mort d’un jeune poète, 100 Legs, and Nous sommes tous. Her latest work, Hit and Fall, created in collaboration with performer Martin Messier, was presented at Festival TransAmériques and Les Escales Improbables in Montreal and at Kinetic Studio in Halifax, among other venues. She teaches at the Regroupement québécois de la danse as well as at the dance department of Concordia University. She became a member of O Vertigo in August 2011 to dance in Khaos, Ginette Laurin’s latest creation.
