Classical Ballet / Dancer
Carolina Okolova began her ballet training at the age of 5 in Mexico, City. She attended the Miami City Ballet School under a full scholarship and was able to perform in several works by George Balanchine including Divertimento #15, Square Dance and Allegro Brilliant. As an Apprentice for North Carolina Dance Theatre under Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride Ms. Okolova had the opportunity to perform in Balanchine\'s Raymonda Variations, Four Temperaments, La Sonambula and Who Cares as well as Mark Dimond\'s Snow White and Carnival of the Animals. She also performed in Dwight Rhoden\'s Othello, Alvin Ailey\'s \"Night Creatures\", Twayla Tharp\'s Nine Sinatra Songs among others. Ms. Okolova joined Buglisi Dance Theatre in their residency in Utica, NY and performed Jacqulyn Buglisi\'s work in progress \"Letter of Love on Ripped Paper\". Ms. Okolova has performed the Nutcracker every year since she started dancing and continues to enjoy being a part of it. this is Ms. Okolova\'s first production with the Eglevsky Ballet.
