Classical Ballet / Soloist
Soloist Bruna Andrade is from Brazil and began her dance training in Rio de Janeiro. In 2003, she was able to continue with a grant from Dance Foundation Birgit Keil graduated from the Academy of Dance in Mannheim. While the artistic postgraduate studies dance / stage experience, she was a member of the ballet studio of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and received for the 2006/2007 season in the ensemble. 2010 she was promoted to soloist. As the first major role she danced in Gamsatti The temple dancer, it was followed by the title role in Ray Barra's Carmen. Other solo performances were Tchaikovsky and Antonina in Peter Breuer Youri Vamos Titania in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also danced the Waltz in Les Sylphides, in Hans van Manen's Adagio Hammerklavier, in George Balanchine's Symphony in C (2nd Movement) and choreographed by Terence Kohler. Most recently, she debuted in 2010 in Christopher Wheeldon Swan Lake as Odette / Odile and in Youri Vamos' The Nutcracker - A Christmas Carol as a Christmas spirit.
