Classical Ballet / Soloist
Soloist Blythe Newman, born in Australia, began her training in Melbourne. In 2003 she began a scholarship from the Dance Foundation Birgit Keil continued her studies at the Academy of Dance in Mannheim. While the artistic postgraduate studies dance / stage experience she was a member of the ballet studios of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and became the 2006/2007 season firmly engaged in the ensemble. Her solo credits include the starring role of Lise in Frederick Ashton\'s La Fille gardée times, Nikiya in the temple dancer, Kitti in Anna Karenina and Empty Frames by Terence Kohler, Giulia in the bed of Giulia Farnese of Jörg Mannes, Antonina to Peter Breuer\'s Tchaikovsky, Pepa in Carmen by Ray Barra. She was also seen in Cadence by Thiago Bordin, Suite sporty Ralf Jaroschinski and Le Sacre du Printemps by Davide Bombana. In addition to her repertoire includes solo parts in Symphony in C by George Balanchine, Piano Concerto in E Major by Uwe Scholz and in Swan Lake by Christopher Wheeldon, the Russian dance.
