Classical Ballet / Soloist
Soloist Barbara Blanche, born in Slovenia, studied from 1999 with the help of a scholarship from the Dance Foundation Birgit Keil at the Mannheim Academy of Dance. In 2002 she was admitted to postgraduate artistic dance / theater practice and a member of the newly established ballet studio of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe. With the start of the 2003/2004 season, she was a founding member of the newly formed ballet company. Here they went through the outstanding interpretation of the title role in Anna Karenina\'s attention. Other solo roles were Cecile in Dangerous Liaisons, gypsy in Coppélia, caster, and the princess in Schéhérazade Blue Ballerina Ballet Pathétique, Trini in Ray Barra\'s Carmen, Tchaikovsky and Antonina\'s mother in Peter Breuer. She danced in Sacre du Printemps by Davide Bombana and Thiago Bordin in Cadence, Uwe Scholz \'Sonata, Hans van Manen\'s Adagio Hammerklavier and Christopher Wheeldon in the Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Big Swans and the Hungarian Dance. Variations in sérieuses, also by Christopher Wheeldon, she embodied the role of the ballerina and her Heinz Spoerli Nocturnes was entrusted to one of the leading female roles. In July 2010 she presented in the context of choreographers imagine their first choreography Gotango.Mit start of the 2010/2011 season, Barbara Blanche by Birgit Keil was appointed soloist.
