Classical Ballet / Dancer
Spanish. Born in 1975, he studied ballet in Bilbao and then at the Royal Ballet School after having been arwarded the Prix de Lausanne in 1993. From 1994 to 1999, he danced as a Principal dancer at the Birmingham Royal Ballet in which he interpreted characters like the Prince in Nutcracker , Paris or Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet. He joins the Grand Théâtre de Genève in 1999.
In 2001, he joined les Ballets de Monte-Carlo where he has danced major roles in Jean-Christophe Maillot's productions such as Romeo and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, the Prince in Cinderella and La Belle, Adam in Oeil pour Oeil, and also in Les Noces, Dov'è la Luna and Le Songe. He is also chosen by guest choreographers as William Forsythe (In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated) and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (In Memoriam and Mea Culpa).
