Born: Rowe, MA.

Joined Ballet West II in 2004.
Joined Ballet West in 2006. Promoted to Demi-Soloist in 2010.

Arolyn Williams received her initial training at Pioneer Valley Ballet in Massachusetts under Gail Collins, followed by two years at North Carolina School of the Arts (NCSA) where she received the Chancellor\\\'s Award for Artistic and Academic Excellence. She also spent several summers at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance where she studied Ohad Naharin’s Gaga technique, as well as repertoire by Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, and local San Francisco choreographers Alex Ketley and Robert Moses.

Arolyn’s repertory with Ballet West includes “Two Girls” in Bronislava Nijinska\\\'s Les Biches; “Pas de Trois,” “Four Cygnets” and “Neapolitan” in Adam Sklute’s newly conceived and produced Swan Lake; and “Four Little Russian Girls” in George Balanchine’s Serenade.

Arolyn’s favorite roles include “Spring Fairy” in Ben Stevenson\\\'s Cinderella, “Ophelia” in Val Caniparoli\\\'s Hamlet and Ophelia Pas de Deux, Cio Cio San in Stanton Welch\\\'s Madame Butterfly and “Titania” in Sir Frederick Ashton\\\'s The Dream. Most recently, she performed leading roles in Megan Furse’s “Selcoutheries” and Helen Pickett’s “But Never Doubt I Love”.
