A soloist with the Cairo Opera House Ballet before joining the Company in 2007, Anton Lykhanov began dance training when he was four. He graduated from the Kharkov Ballet School in Ukraine and began his professional ballet career with the Kharkov Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2002 and also danced with the Odessa National Ballet of Ukraine.
Since that time he has performed in Japan, Taiwan, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Greece and Russia. In 2004 Anton joined the Moscow Ballet on its US tour. His extensive classical repertoire includes Romeo and Juliet, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and La Bayadere. Anton has danced in the Company’s productions of DON JUAN, AMADEUS and performs as The Fool and “Death” in KING LEAR. This season he takes on the role of Rocco
