Classical Ballet / Dancer

Angie DeWolf was born and raised in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She credits her dance training to Sharon Filone at Lake Erie Ballet (Erie, PA), Barbara Banasikowski Smith at Greater Lansing Ballet and the Michigan State University Repertory Dance Company.

Angie is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Pre-Med degree and danced professionally with the Greater Lansing Ballet Company. In addition, Angie was involved in a cultural exchange with The Vaganova Ballet of St. Petersburg, Russia and is a proud faculty member at José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s school.

Angie joined José Mateo Ballet Theatre in 2004. Angie has held featured roles, most notably, in Streams, Timeless Attractions, Back to Bach, Sound Secrets and danced as the Snow Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.
