The son of a ballet teacher Andrew Michael received an early piece of his first dance lessons, then became a student of the Swiss Professional Ballet School under the direction of Heinz Spoerli and finished his education at the National Ballet School of Berlin. From 1999 to 2001 he danced at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, followed by a season ever at the Finnish National Ballet in Helsinki and at the Essen Aalto Ballet. Since the start of the 2003/04 season, he is a member of Jörg Mannes\' corps de ballet, first at the City Theatre of Bremerhaven and then at the State Theatre Linz. At the start of the 2006/07 season he moved to the Hanover State Opera, where he made his debut as a choreographer of \"name of the game\" in the Ballhofreihe \"new steps\". Michael Andreas von Arb others danced in choreographies by William Forsythe, Heinz Spoerli, Jiri Kylian, Angelin Preljocaj, Nacho Duato and Nils Christe.
