Born on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Andrea studied dance with Anne Fraser and completed her training at The Australian Ballet School. In 1999 she joined The Australian Ballet where she performed in works by Jiří Kylian, George Balanchine, Nacho Duato and Christopher Wheeldon. Promoted to coryphée, her repertoire included first soloist shade in Makarova\'s La Bayadere, Earth Fairy in Stanton Welch\'s Sleeping Beauty plus young duchess to be and cygnet in Graeme Murphy\'s Swan Lake. She worked with choreographers Stephen Baynes, Meryl Tankard, Natalie Weir and Stephen Page and toured to London, New York, China and Singapore.
