Classical Ballet / Trainee

Alison received her early training at The HARID Conservatory where she studied on full scholarship. During summers Alison attended Pacific Northwest Ballet, Houston Ballet and was an apprentice at the Chautauqua Institute. Alison also had extensive training from former New York City Ballet Soloist Zippora Karz. Alison studied with Violette Verdy and Michal Vernon at Indiana University’s Jacob School of Music where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance and a double major in Nonprofit Management/Funds. While at Indiana University, Alison performed in George Balanchine’s Valse Fantasie, Serenade, The Four Temperaments, and the soloist role in “Rubies” from Jewels. Alison was also featured in Swan Lake and Matthew Neenan’s My Eyes Open. Alison joined Ballet Arizona in 2010 and has since performed in Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments.
